Mission

AIPPEN's mission is

'to promote better health care outcomes and enhance interprofessional education (IPE) and interprofessional practice (IPP) through interprofessional learning (IPL) in Australia and New Zealand by developing a network to promote communication and collaboration among members'.

Goals

AIPPEN sets out to achieve the following goals -

  1. Promote communication and collaboration between health care sectors, education sectors, government, practitioners and service users (patients)
     
  2. Organise seminars and conferences to share information and experiences
     
  3. Facilitate workforce policy and practice change in Australia and New Zealand
     
  4. Encourage research, evaluation and collaboration between different teams to demonstrate the health care and economic advantages of interprofessional learning (IPL)
     
  5. Disseminate information on IPL
